Saint Martin

Inlaid frame.

The saint's horse is painted and its hooves are gilded.

The armour and the sword are made in spun copper.

Faces and hands are made of linen.  Hairs are embroidered with gold thread for St Martin and silver thread for the mendicant.

I chose to use silver thread for that one in the place of color thread because we should'nt forget that after this meeting,

St Martin will dream this poor is Jésus-Christ.

I wanted, by this mean, giving importance to this person and showing his divine characteristic.
