... It's Esther Brassac who has been rewarded for her laces and her wood and bone sculptures.

Originating from Emalleville, the young lacemaker has only begun ten months ago. 

"This idea ran in my head for some years and I discovered a book which permitted to me to advance rapidly. This exhibition is the first which I have participed. I have exhibited the main part of my work, from the most ordinary lace to the most complicated. Before beginning the exhibition, I'll never have thought to obtain the creativity prize. But, at the next moment, I had a little intuition. At present, I'll hope to create still more beautiful laces and move off the handicraft to make masterpieces."
